Our monthly Read Between the Wines night is getting a new chapter!

On the last Wednesday of each month, we’re inviting a local author to join us at Ghost Fox Winery for an evening dedicated to books, conversation, and a good glass of wine.

Each month will feature a different local author who will be available to chat about their book, share a little about their writing journey, answer questions, and connect with readers. Whether you've already read their work, are discovering them for the first time, or simply want a cozy place to settle in with your own book, you're invited.

Our regular Read Between the Wines format will still be part of the evening, including our dedicated silent reading time from 7:00–7:30 PM. Come early to grab a glass, meet our featured author, and find your reading spot.

September Author:  Madona Raad Elias and her book My Scattered Thoughts at a Time of War

Madona is a clinical psychologist, behavioral health provider, health educator, and advocate with over two decades of experience supporting patients and communities affected by trauma, crisis, and displacement. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience, she brings a global and compassionate voice to the stories shared in this book.

Join us at Ghost Fox Winery for a sweet and creative evening with Eat Everything Bakehouse as we turn brownies into edible works of art!

Each guest will receive their own 6x9 frosted brownie sheet and everything needed to create a beautiful sprinkle embroidery design. Using colorful sprinkles and candies, you'll carefully build your design piece by piece right on top of the icing—no sewing skills required, and eating your mistakes is highly encouraged.

Your $30 ticket includes:

One 6x9 iced brownie from Eat Everything Bakehouse 

Sprinkles and decorating supplies 

 Instruction and guidance to create your edible embroidery masterpiece 

 Your finished brownie to enjoy or take home and show off

🍷 Wine, mocktails, and other beverages will be available for purchase à la carte from Ghost Fox Winery. Wine is not included with the ticket, making this a fun, creative event for all ages.

Let’s slow down for an evening. Join us for Asado - a meal slow roasted over fire while conversation unfolds at an unhurried pace. Take in the gorgeous views, dance to live music, and connect with friends new and old. We will be joined by The Poet on Main Street, Curtis Kaiser, who will be writing poetry live for guests. The menu has been carefully curated by the chefs at Jacked Nutrition and expertly paired with a selection of Ghost Fox wines. As you savor this meal with friends, optional prompts will guide the conversation deeper.

Aguacate de Pernil 

Slow-roasted Spanish-style pulled pork served over fresh avocado, finished with bright pico de gallo. 

PLATO PRINCIPAL 

Asado Steak + Chimichurri 

Fire-roasted steak served in the tradition of South American asado, finished with fresh house chimichurri. 

Accompaniments Roasted red potatoes Fire roasted broccolini Simple South American salad dressed with fresh lemon and sea salt

Crème de Limón Brûlée 

Silky lemon custard beneath a delicate brûléed sugar crust bright, rich, and finished over flame.

And because good dogs deserve rewards, pups who show off their skills can earn themselves and their humans a special treat from the Ghost Fox tasting bar!

Costumes are highly encouraged (because obviously we want to see your dog dressed up), but not required. Whether your pup is a seasoned performer or just really, really good at sitting when snacks are involved, come out for an afternoon of wine, wagging tails, and a little friendly competition.

Tickets are per Pup and proceeds will be donated to the local Humane Society.

Unwind with a good book and a great glass of wine at Read Between the Wines, our cozy monthly reading night at Ghost Fox Winery. 

 Bring whatever you’re currently reading — novel, nonfiction, poetry, Kindle, or book club pick — and enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow readers and wine lovers. 

 🗓 When: The last Wednesday of every month, 6–8 PM 

📖 Silent Reading Hour: 7–7:30 PM 

📍 Where: Ghost Fox Winery 

 From 6–7 PM and again after 7:30 PM, feel free to chat, browse the tasting room, and connect with other guests. During the silent reading half hour, we dim the vibe, quiet the room, and give everyone space to sink into their books with a glass in hand. 

No reservations required — just show up, grab a pour, and get lost in a good story.
